01 The Programme

Builders are the high-schoolers who’d rather make the thing than talk about it. Get access to the space and the lab, plug into the community and take on a build with a real clock running.

01 Space

24/7 Coworking Space

A room in our Helsinki HQ that’s yours whenever you need it. Desks, fast wifi, whiteboards and people building alongside you. Drop in for an afternoon or camp out through a deadline.

Helsinki HQ · Open round the clock

02 Lab

The Hardware Lab

Workbenches, tools, electronics and soldering irons for ambitious group builds. If your idea needs to be made of more than code, this is where it gets made.

03 Challenge

The 10-Day Build Challenge

A sprint open to the whole community, in person or online. Ten days, an idea and something real to show at the end. Go further and you can apply to take a bigger project over 2–6 months.

Whole community · In person or online

No startup, no CV, no track record. Just bring something you want to make.

  • Founders
  • Engineers
  • Designers
  • Makers

Tell us what you want to build and what you’d need from the space and the lab to do it. Whether it’s a 10-day sprint or a longer group project, we’ll help you find a spot and the tools.

Builder access is for ambitious high-schoolers. If you’ve ever looked at something broken and thought “I could fix that,” this is for you.

02 The Alumni

Built here. Kept going.

Builders don’t stay students for long. These are some of the people who came through STUHI and kept shipping.
